ACT has announced that a new version of the ACT test (the Core ACT) would be released in April 2025, and the current ACT test (the Classic ACT) would be phased out over the course of 2025. The first official Core ACT practice test has been released. Although it’s hard to draw concrete conclusions from a single practice test, this test does provide a welcome glimpse into the kinds of changes one can expect on the new ACT.
